Cook chick peas/channa, add fresh seasonings (chive, shadow beni, garlic) salt to taste. when fully cooked, strain and save the remaining seasoned water. when cooled, blend half cup of channa/chick peas with enough seasoned water to a thin paste. Using a bowl add ingredients to blended channa/chick peas and knead into a dough. heat oil of your choice, use coconut oil as a healthier option, roll dough into individual balls to a size of your preference, then roll each ball making a flat circle. When oil is hot and ready for frying place your channa/chick peas fried bake to be in your frying pan, when golden brown on both sides, remove add the balance of your seasoned channa and enjoy.
